This trading competition simulates real-world trading environments with both manual and algorithmic components. I worked on the algorithmic trading side, developing Python-based strategies for market making, statistical arbitrage, and volatility modelling. I deepened my understanding of market microstructure, economic modelling, risk management, and strategy optimisation under live conditions through team collaboration. Ultimately, my collaboration on the algorithm landed our algorithm to be rated #60 globally.

Hosted a medical school interview workshop for GEMSAS applicants looking to study post-graduate medicine whilst performing as the Medicine Events Executive in the University of Queensland Biomedical Society (UQABS). The event was lead by two UQ medical students whom were extremely familiar with the interviews in order to best guide the students attending.
